At this time Studio Cute mainly focuses on prototyping work for figure runs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_single_image image=”7964″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=”I’d like to make a run of figures! How do we proceed?” open=”true” el_id=”1496840357706-5cd0279f-7ae5″]Please email your design and/or concept to marcy@studiocute.com. Include reference pictures, an idea of run size proposed (minimum run 100 figures), approximate size, material (resin or PVC) and any other details that might be relevant.

If you don’t have all this info, that’s OK! I can help you with materials choices and other information relevant to figure production. Once I have a solid design to work from, I can give you an estimate for the prototyping cost.

If you’re an artist and maybe can’t pay the full production costs up-front, I can sometimes do collaboration works. See below for more info.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What if I just want one figure?” el_id=”1496840357837-b4b34dc7-cba5″]I can produce a one of a kind original sculpture, refined to the same level as other production figures, but the cost will be extremely high due to not being able to profit off multiple sales of the figures. Price will vary with complexity of the character, but expect price estimates for a standard 8-10″ figure in the 4-digit range.

Less refined sculptures can also be commissioned for lower rates.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What’s a Collaboration Figure?” el_id=”1496840357973-794e3090-5f96″]Collaboration figures are figures where a 2D artist and I work together to produce a figure and split the proceeds. These figures are crowdfunded to determine the size of the edition, and this way the artist does not have to pay my sculpting labor or any other fees up front. A successful Kickstarter campaign will fund the production of the figure run, plus enough extra copies to split between the artist and myself. In essence, a creator doesn’t have to pay anything and will receive some figures in exchange for having me sculpt the prototype, and I get ‘paid’ for the project by selling my remaining copies of the figures after preorders are fulfilled.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I’m an artist! Can we do a collaboration?” el_id=”1496840358112-5beb3514-8f20″]Please send any relevant information to marcy@studiocute.com. Online gallery links (Twitter/tumblr links are OK too), samples of your art, or if you already have a design idea in mind, send it along! Priority given to artists/designs with an active community following, animal/monster designs, and characters from established creator-owned works (please, official property owners only, no fan art can be produced as a figure run without permission from the copyright/trademark holder).

Please note that at any given time I already have several projects in my collaboration queue. I may not be able to add your project right away, or at all.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I have a question about producing figures that’s not here?” el_id=”1496840358242-fbda7bd7-b573″]Please email all other questions or concerns to marcy@studiocute.com.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][/vc_row]
