Okay, I finally realized I’m just not that organized (or I could be, but I’m already doing so many other things! argh!), and so I installed a nice storefront. Now you can see exactly how many copies of any given sculpt or piece of jewelry I have in stock, and I’ve gone in and adjusted the shipping rate on everything too. I think something like four or five cats can ship for the same flat $5 rate. Over a certain weight, the shipping will increase, but the resins and jewelry are small so I thought I’d save everyone a little money. :)
Also, orders over $150 will ship free! That’s both US and international.

The first batch arrived much faster than I was expecting, so I changed the price to a flat $40 plus shipping. Thank you to all who preordered!
If you haven’t bought yours yet, what are you waiting for? :9 They’re absolutely beautiful, the finish on them is highly polished and still very detailed; also, now I can ship in time for Halloween, a great time to wear your Nightmare! (Well, any time is a great time to help out horses, I say…)

I have also edited the buttons in the Store so that multiple items can be purchased with combined shipping.

From top, left to right:
1. I originally started this off on a small plastic Breyer stablemate. Annoyingly (which is why I don’t often start with the body first), the head got a little too big for the body.
2. My new, larger horse body arrives in the mail! Her tail’s broken off, but I was going to make a new one anyways, so that’s fine. I started adding a little clay to smooth out her contours.
3. Sawing away at the neck. At this point her skull wasn’t tall enough either.
4. Horse’s head chopped off, mane also sawed off and gaps filled in (more bulk added to the body too). I made a rough foil ‘torso’ and superglued it onto the shoulders before covering it in clay.
5. After coating with clay, boobs and shoulders and neck details added. Head was also attached and made a bit taller.
6. First tail. Also, bun in hair.
7. RAAAARRRGH
8. There’s the second tail, which I still wasn’t happy with (the first tail with more hair overlaid on top of it, basically). Also, um, dismemberment.
9. A shorter, narrower-shouldered torso and a new tail (#3) later! Ahhhhh. <|D

More news on this project coming soon. :)

Literally just finished sculpting this kitty last night. She’s titled “Kitkat” and much like her namesake, who can often be seen in exactly this pose, she is resting in a cute and very compact form (a.k.a. catloaf).
Now available for orders, I’m sending her off to get cast in resin very soon! Reserve your copy in the Store, or check out more photos of her in the Gallery.

A random discovery a few days ago while I was cleaning up: my old wax models from when I was doing jewelry several years ago!
Among them: “Nightmare.”
Since I’m interested in working with various animal rescues, I’ve decided to look into casting this tiny equine as a fundraiser for horse adoptions. We’ll see what results.
